My name is Razvan and I am currently a Research Scientist with Siemens Corporate Research in Princeton, NJ, developing machine learning methods for use in medical imaging. My work focuses on personalized modeling of cardiovascular structures and therapy improvement for patients with valve heart disease.
Since 2007, I am a graduate student with the “Technische Universitaet Muenchen” in Germany, pursuing my PhD. in Computer Vision. Prior to that, I studied and graduated with honors from the “Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuernberg” with a “Dipl-Inf. Univ.” degree (~Masters) in Computer Science.
I am most satisfied, motivated and accomplished when I feel that I can impact and change the world trough my projects. In general, I get excited about new “stuff”, I like to travel and being involved in divers and challenging activities.
